Pantherpetal is a sweet, gentle, empathetic girl with a soft spot for others who had rough early lives. She's also very patient and forgiving. Unfortunately, her general timid nature and tendency toward self-loathing make her an easy target. This is not entirely by chance. Her narcissistic mother, Briarberry very much molded her daughter turned scapegoat into someone who is easily manipulated.
Unfortunately, Briarberry is not the only cat who would be able to take advantage of this. A handsome tom with a kithood sob story could very easily worm his way into her life and love bomb her into being a dedicated partner.
This potential partner is what I am seeking at this time. They wouldn't be outwardly aggressive, or would at the very least demonstrate that they are "sweet to her" even if they were unkind to others. This character would already have one ex in the world, Fawngaze, who would know this honeymoon phase would not last forever. Over time they would go from doting to chipping away at the miniscule parts of her self-esteem. Eventually this cat would become quite controlling and try to intervene in her relationships with cats like her brother, Ryewolf, and her friends Wrenpounce and Fennelflare. Most if not all of this behaviour would be behind the scenes and subtle. The idea is that few cats notice until Pantherpetal is expecting kits. Ideally this plot would take place over at least a few age ups.
Eventually, something has to give. Her friends and brother learn of her mate's behaviour. I'd be willing to discuss the end game for this cat, But Fawngaze would definitely be willing to take him out in a blaze of glory if that would be your preference. Otherwise, perhaps his behaviour is exposed to the clan and Rabbitstar or the leader at that time has to make a call.

- This cat MUST be older than her. Fawngaze is 40 moons, so perhaps the pair were apprentices together. rett ☽ is your go to source for backstory with Fawn.
- This cat must have some sort of tragedy or traumatic event in their backstory. Doesn't excuse their actions, but allows Panther to justify to herself.
- The player has to feel confident in their ability to approach sensitive subject manner like DV without making light of it.
- Not critical, but bonus points if they are a solid or carry solid so we can have a few potential mini-voids around!
