DEORUM (translating to The Gods) is a traditional warrior cat roleplay featuring the original four clans. The original storyline is followed closely up until the series Omen Of The Stars, in which the plot-line diverges allowing users to create their own tale from the warrior universe.
We are a semi-literate forum with a low word count to ensure all levels of players can participate. We have no character limit and employ an optional but simple die rolling mechanic to ensure variability with roleplay.

Staff will control the rat swarm using the PREDATORS account.
[attr="class","ttbody"]She looked towards the other two that were with her. She didn't know much about Rookshade, but she knew that he was a younger warrior. And the other with them was Freesiapaw, Nectarineshine's new apprentice. She was hoping that the rats they were going to exterminate would not hurt either of them too badly. Nectarineshine had seen her fair share of rats in her lifetime. Most of the time there were one or two of them at a time, and not a huge swarm. Traveling forward carefully, she gave a flick of her tail as she gave a nod to each of them. "Rat bites can be nasty so be careful," She told both of them. "If you get bit don't hide it. Rat bites get infected easily and can lead to death," She emphasized. She didn't care whether or not they wanted to look tough. She would keeping an eye on each of them to make sure she didn't lie to her. She would send them to Lambflower immediately should she see either of them injured.

[attr="class","pinscroll"]rookshade was nervous. this would be his first time facing a predator like a bunch of rats. he'd heard many warning stories about the dangers of rat bites, but he couldn't let his nerves get the best of him. he'd been chosen to help fight, so now he had to do his best to do just that. he followed nectarineshine as she led the way toward the maple grove, following closely by her apprentice, freesiapaw. he nodded firmly in response to her words. he didn't have a death wish. "of course." no good came from trying to hide injuries. the young warrior took a deep breath, trying to ease some of his nerves. fighting against cats was one thing-- a predator like rats was another thing entirely.
Freesiapaw breathed in sharply. She felt a little apprehensive about driving out the rats. Her battle tactics weren't the strongest. She was still learning a lot, but she knew the dangers of the rats. They could be dangerous, very dangerous; they had sharp bites and numerous of the things could most certainly be fatal. Still, she held her head high. She wanted to appear confident, she tried to believe in herself.
She was ready for the fight; to save her clan, and protect others. She stuck close to her mentor; following behind her closely. She trusted Nectarineshine, and knew that she would be there to protect her if anything went astray. She nodded, planting a smile across her maw as Nectarineshine gave some instructions. "Sure thing, boss," she meowed back, as her tail flicked from left to right. Her gaze slid to Rookshade. He was a sweet looking cat; small, like her, but he was much older than her. Surely, together; the three of them would be able to drive the rats from RiverClan.
[attr="class","dstafftable"]Intruders. Intruders. INTRUDERS.The rats almost moved like once being, a wave of fur that rushed from their hiding places all at once. Bite. Chase them away. Eat them. Eat them. The wave of rats shrieked as they circled the patrol of cats. The first group rushed up as more circled, aiming their bites and claws at the smallest and youngest of the group. They knew cats were dangerous. There were more in the forest - they needed to chase away this group before falling in to assist the others. Eat them - kill them. Chase them away.
[attr="class","ttbody"]She listened as each of them confirmed and took her words into account - or she hoped they had. She didn't want either of them getting hurt under her watch, but she knew that she couldn't prevent everything. She looked back towards each of them with a nod as they made their approach and the scurrying feet of rat could be heard. Giving a sharp inhale, she started swatting at the small creatures, seeing that some were already swarming around Freesiapaw. Giving a small hiss, Nectarineshine tried to make her way to her apprentice, hoping that she would be able to move away in time and wouldn't get hurt.
[attr="class","pinscroll"]all of a sudden, the trio of cats were surrounded by what seemed like a wave of rats, moving almost in sync with each other. rookshade's fur bristled in alarm as a small group of them began to rush freesiapaw and he rushed to the apprentice's aid alongside nectarineshine. with a low growl, he swiped as hard as he could at the group of rats, claws unsheathed and teeth bared threateningly.[break][break]
Naturally; the rats came for Freesiapaw first. It felt as if time had slowed down; they came towards her, charging with their small, beady eyes, and sharp teeth. She leaped clumsily aside, managing to narrowly avoid the sharp teeth of the rats. She felt a sigh of relief, but it was only brief as she knew she needed to lunge back and start trying to give them the upper paw.
The rats moved quick, but Freesiapaw wasn't put off. She lunged at some rats near her, and began to try and pick them up and toss them. The classic scruff shake.
