She wanted to see if she could explore more of the small alcoves of the borders without crossing over into Thunderclan territory. She just wanted to find something interesting if she were being honest. Leaf-bare was the most boring and cold time of the year and she hated it. Truly she couldn't wait until newleaf came back around. Sniffing around, she wouldn't catch any interesting scents, much to her sadness. She swept her tail behind her, flicking some of the small snowflakes that had fallen onto her coat off as she kept sniffing around the borders. Wondering if something or someone would come cure her boredom. Astershine stretched. He arched his back, and spread out his front legs. Nothing could beat a good stretch. He shook himself out, and then continued towards the border. The camp was a bit busy; everyone still reeling from their recent run in with RiverClan. ThunderClan had lost, and while it angered Astershine, he figured that they would eventually get revenge. [break][break]
The tom's eyes connected with a pretty she-cat. Her scent heavy of RiverClan. In an instant, the battle between the two clans felt like a distant memory. His eyes glinted; they always seemed to smile and twinkle with emotion much more so than his maw ever could. She wore pretty fur, short but it looked so soft. "Your pelt looks glossy and very sleek," he said, offering forward a compliment as he drew towards the border. "Names' Astershine," he said.

She of course, wasn't one to turn down company but she wasn't sure how the Thunderclan warrior would react since they'd be rather sore losers about their loss for Maple Grove. But as she locked eyes with the tom and the compliment came from his maw, she felt herself stiffen with a sort of kit-like embarrassment. "Koistream," She offered him, giving a dip of her head. "Your coat looks rather nice as well," She complimented. He was very large compared to her - not that she truly minded. Giving a smile towards him. "What's a strong and handsome tom like you doing at the borders?" She asked him, offering a playful wink to keep the conversation lighthearted. Oh, she was a flirt. Instantly, Astershine felt well within his element. His ivory whiskers twitched excitedly, his eyes gleaming with warmth. Although to some, the two were considered enemies. And perhaps another day they would be, but today; today they were just two cats, two cats seeking company. Maybe companionship. [break][break]
Your coat looks rather nice too. He shot her a cheeky smile, bowing his head to her; showing gratitude for the compliment. He kind of knew that he was attractive. Although, he didn't like to boast, or flaunt it, or even take advantage of it. Perhaps though it inadvertently did aid his charismatic nature. "Thank you," he meowed coolly back. [break][break]
The tom stretched. He was a big cat. Large, muscular, with broad shoulders and a strong jaw line. He sat down, releasing a long and slow purr. The conversation felt lighthearted and easy; it was almost like connecting with an old friend, and it was refreshing and nice. "Oh you flatter me," he said, his smile growing, "I'm just out for a little walk. Thought it might be nice to take advantage of a break in the rain," he said, exhaling slowly. For the past few days, it had been raining pretty heavily. And finally, the rain had ceased. [break][break]
"What about you? How is RiverClan fairing? I have always wondered whether the rain deters you from swimming...Or whether if it only makes it more enjoyable?"

She knew that if she were caught talking with him at the borders she would surely get reprimanded but that was something she would worry about later. Right now, she was enjoying the tom's company and that was that. She listened to him, giving a small smile as she moved closer, her white features dappled with black and orange here and there giving the molly an elegant look to her as she moved. "Personally? I love swimming in the rain. There's a sort of peacefulness to it," She told him. "But some don't prefer to swim in the rain. Some think its dangerous. Honestly, being safe all the time can be a bit boring. Taking risks and adventures is always much more fun," She said to him. "I've always wondered what Thunderclan territory is like," She said aloud. "Is it as vast and marvelous as I imagine it to be?" Astershine erected his ears curiously. She was a molly after his own heart in some ways. He too; didn't like to play by the rules all the time. He liked to take risks, he liked to live his life a little more closer to the edge than some of his clan-mates. It seemed Koistream were the same. He felt his smile grow as he imagined swimming in the rain. He rather liked the rain. There was a sense of peace that it brought. He loved listening to the thumper of it against the den walls.
If he liked swimming, he imagined he'd love swimming in the rain. The tom's tail flicked carelessly. It extended across the border and gently brushed against the she-cat. He didn't seem to comment on it though. Only a small, cheeky smile seemed to be present across his mysterious features.
"ThunderClan feels like mostly trees and mountains, if you ask me," he said, "Don't get me wrong...It can be rather beautiful; especially when the sun sets and it looks as though it is resting on the edge of the mountains. But, I suppose you tend to become too familiar with your own space...You know?"

Koistream loved taking risks; and this would be one of them. The tom was appealing to the eye, and he was welcoming her and her flirtatious behavior. Truly, he was a tom after her own heart and Koistream could appreciate that about him. As she listened to him speak, she let out a soft purr as she pulled away after brushing against him, tail flicking underneath his chin as she moved a little ways away, trying to draw him towards her. "You do, Riverclan territory can be beautiful but it's become... so boring," She spoke to him, voice dipping a bit as she looked towards him with green eyes that would have any tom crumbling to the ground. "Excitement, thrill the risks of doing things others wouldn't," She would look at the tom in that moment, giving him a small slow wink. "It's something I've always enjoyed. Especially when it comes to exceedingly handsome toms such as yourself," She would step forward, a flirtatious smile to her face. "Perhaps you would indulge me?" She asked, brushing underneath the tom's jaw as she moved to his other side, playfully flicking her tail in front of his face. The risks she was taking, by being fully on Thunderclan territory, as well as flirting with one of their warriors at that, sent a thrilled chill down Koistream's spine. Forbidden exchanges had never truly felt more right.
